What have you learned most about making a difference in Texarkana (or about your opportunity for community leadership) from being a part of Leadership Texarkana?

Texarkana is blessed to have so many people that care about this community.

What does leadership mean to you?

Taking on responsibilities no matter what the reward is.  Also being able to make those tough decisions even when not popular to do so.

For what community organization or issue or opportunity do you have a passion and invest your time, talent or money?

Texarkana College and TC Foundation

If you had one wish and could make a difference of significance in Texarkana (your small corner) what would you do with that one wish and why?

2 things: Revitalize downtown and update Texas Blvd (which is where my office is).  I think Texas Blvd should have more beautification requirements.

What do many people not know about you that you would to share with us?   What are some of your passions and hobbies?

I was Salutatorian of my high school class.I enjoy golf, spending time with my family, time at the Caddo River and lake time. Also enjoy snow skiing.

What do you most love about Texarkana, in general?

I love that Texarkana has a good base of local people but realizes it needs new blood in order to survive and that people like myself (though no not from here) now proudly call Texarkana home and have for 18 years!
