1. Blockbuster Movie Themes
Saturday, November 2 | 7:30PM-9:30PM

Join the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra for an evening of music from some of the most beloved films of all time including: Braveheart, Titantic, The Godfather, E.T., Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Pirates of the Caribbean, James Bond 007, Lawrence of Arabia and many more. 2. Trunk or Treat at Spring Lake Park
Thursday, October 31 | 5:00PM-7:00PM

The Texarkana Texas Police Department and the Parks and Recreation Department are teaming up to host a trunk or treat and special showing of Toy Story 4 at Spring Lake Park this Halloween night!
Spaces for vehicles are limited, so contact us soon if you’d like to reserve a place and decorate your vehicle to pass out candy. We welcome all kids and the event is FREE! Trick or Treat will go from 5:00-7:00 and then the movie will begin shortly after dusk. Let us know if you’d like to be involved! Call 903-798-3978 for more information .

4. FBC Fall Festival
Wednesday, October 30 | 5:30PM-7:30PM

Join First Baptist Church for their annual First Family Fall Festival! They will have bounce houses, games, live music, hot dogs, s’mores, a cake walk, trunk or treat and so much more! Everything is FREE and there will be fun for all ages!
Invite your friends and neighbors to come and be a part of the food, fun, music, fellowship and special events. Boys and girls are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes. It will be a great night that you won’t want to miss!

5. Acrylic Pour at Redbone
Wednesday, October 30 | 7:00PM

Celebrate Halloween in style, costumes encouraged!! Choose the two canvas option or a fun pumpkin cutout and all your custom colors. Acrylic pouring classes are becoming increasingly popular. During this class you will learn how to mix the paint with the pouring mediums, watch technique tutorials done by Shea and get to complete your pieces on your own. This class comes with your first drink paid for by ColorHype – come join the fun!
Important info: When you leave you will be taking the pieces with you, they will be wet for up to 24 hours after you leave. You will be given a box to sit the pieces on to help protect your car. You will not be allowed to leave the pieces at the location. By signing up for this class you are accepting full responsibility for any damages to your personal property, which may be caused by paint and/or any other materials taken away from the class.

6. Knots for Noggins

Chloe’s Journey of Faith Foundation would like to introduce our first annual Knots for Noggins run and walk for Pediatric Brain cancer research through Chloe’s Crusade for the cure hero fund fundraiser. We are raising funds in collaboration with Alex’s Lemonade Stand for a research grant aimed towards Glioblastoma, DIPG and Osteosarcoma. Join us in raising awareness for these childhood cancers that are life changing and life taking diseases.

7. Fan Fare Christmas Extravaganza
Saturday, November 2 | 10:00AM-6:00PM

Fan Fare Gifts’ All New Christmas Extravaganza! Saturday, November 2nd, from 10:00-6:00. Refreshments, door prizes AND Santa & Mrs. Claus will be on site from 11:00-2:00 for “selfies with Santa”! PLUS a Reindeer Adoption while supplies last! Something for everyone!

9. Dr. Ben Neumans Open Lecture: Scent & Mental Health
Monday, October 28 | 3:00PM

This first-year biology lecture is about the connection between what we smell, attractiveness, and mental health. Everyone at the lecture will get the chance to smell pheromones and learn about their effects on perception and behavior. We will also go into the mechanism of how a smelly particle entering the nose turns into a thought. Join us at Texas A&M-Texarkana!
