Our Local Gamma Kappa Zeta Chapter won the Service Award for their Region!

As the oldest African American sorority in Texarkana, our local Gamma Kappa Zeta chapter of the national Zeta Phi Beta sorority had double reasons to celebrate this year:  Not only is the national group proudly reaching their centennial year, but the local chapter’s excitement was reflected by chapter President Jo Ann Rice cheering their membership for winning the service award for their large region, beating out fellow sorority chapters in Dallas, Houston and Fort Worth (as reported by the Texarkana Gazette on February 12).

Congratulations to members of Gamma Kappa Zeta for being recognized as SECOND TO NONE regionally in service to our community!
