1. Regional Arts Center Re-Opens!
Tuesday – Saturday

Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council, Inc.’s Regional Art Center and For Arts’ Sake Gift Shop are open Thursday-Saturday from 12:00 – 4:00. Now you can experience and evaluate the art exhibit in our gorgeous, historic, climate-controlled building or purchase a Texarkana memento or that unique present from the gift shop. We have implemented extra safety precautions and sanitation procedures to create the safest environment possible. Currently exhibiting the artwork of Debbie James and Marylin Thomas as well as the many other pieces presented by the Four States Regional Art Club Juried Show.   ALSO now accepting art submissions to be juried for the 32nd regional Juried Regional Art Exhibit, sponsored by the Yates Foundation.    https://www.facebook.com/trahc

2. Summer Movies in the Park
Thursday, June 25 at Sunset

Summer Movies in the Park – this week featuring Frozen 2! Grab a blanket or chair – load up the family – and head on down to Spring Lake Park. A program of Texarkana Parks and Recreation – with sponsor Clayton Homes. Learn more!

4. GTYP 1st Annual Benefit Golf Tournament
Thursday, June 25
Join GTYP for their 1st Annual Benefit Golf Tournament at New Haven Golf Club. 2:00 pm shotgun start with an awards ceremony to follow with dinner provided to players by El Chico’s. Prizes will be awarded for closest to the hole and longest drive. Contact gtypchamber@gmail.com for team and sponsorship sign ups.
 

5. Evolution of Inventions at the Ahern House
Saturday, June 27

The Evolution of Inventions at the Ahern House opens on June 27th. The Ahern Home is a part of the Texarkana Museums system!
 

6. Community Healthcore Food Drive
Tuesday, June 30

Texarkana Community! Community Healthcore is hosting a Food Drive at our 1911 Galleria Oaks Drive location on Tuesday, June 30th from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Help those who are affected by the pandemic. We will accept canned food and non-perishable food items. Help us reach our GOAL of 500 items! Our Crisis Counseling team will be on site for resources and support for those who are affected by COVID-19. Learn more!

7. FREE Online Courses and Kids’ College at Texarkana College
