Rob Sitterley is REDI to Grow Texarkana

Rob Sitterley serves as President & CEO at AR-TX Regional Economic Development Inc. (REDI). REDI is the marketing engine and single point-of-contact for companies looking to locate and grow in Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas. Before taking the top job at AR-TX REDI, Mr. Sitterley was the National Practice Leader at Merit Advisors, LLC, providing economic development consulting and site selection services to clients nationwide.

When asked what led him to have an interest in AR-TX REDI and in relocating to Texarkana from Florida, Sitterley credits the numerous assets of our region. “Upon my first visit to Texarkana, I could sense the spirit and legacy of this wonderful place created through generations of hard-working individuals. We have a business-friendly climate, a robust and growing transportation infrastructure, and institutions of higher learning sharply focused on training the next generation of workforce talent in areas like advanced manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and technology.”

In addition to his keen understanding of our region’s greatest assets, Sitterley employs an aggressive and proactive approach to economic development that is already launching Texarkana to a new level. Under his leadership, REDI helped amass 847 acres on Interstate 30 for the REDI East Texas Logistics Center with the help of Bowie County, Hooks Special Industrial Development Corp., and New Boston Special Industrial Development Corp. REDI also just got under option 1,362 acres in Arkansas with the leadership of the City of Texarkana, AR and Miller County.
